The Bends and OK Computer compare.
OK Computer is actually better than this on some days, depending on my mood.

I never got into Rainbows...it's good, it just doesn't hold my interest
|

too bad man, it's on par with the bends and pretty damn close to kid a and OKC
haha on another note it's so hard for me to concentrate when you have that avatar

I love OK Computer, don't get me wrong, but this is in a league of its own. Still haven't heard In Rainbows yet for some reason, so I can't compare it to that.

Usually consider OK Comp to be my favorite over this but fuck they're just so perfect

@Ryus: Yeah I listen to it and feel bad because I can tell it's good...I just don't enjoy it that
much. Do you know what I mean?
And yeah, that avatar is entrancing.

In Rainbows is the type of album where there's literally no filler. It's kind of magical in that way.
Still like Amnesiac the best though.

OK Computer is the perfect album
Kid A is the perfect way to follow up that album
Simple as that

@Sowing I think so. I feel that way with TDAGARIM, but songs like Reckoner, Videotape and Nude are some of Radiohead's best ever. To me it kind of feels like the opposite of Kid A--Kid A feels cold and distant, In Rainbows to me feels warm and personal

I agree with Ryus on the warmness of In Rainbows. It really is.
In a way both Amnesiac and In Rainbows have this quality to them that makes me feel like I'm locked in a small room alone cuddled up.
Kid A is more like freezing your ass off on top of a high mountain all alone.
All 3 are great, but in a way I almost prefer the former.
