"If Pink Cellphone didn’t have that outro verse nobody would hate on that track. It’s pretty easily the best of full-on trip hop/electronic tracks they’ve done outside of that verse."

Funny how all three of us have Gore as 2nd least awesome, and Adrenaline as least awesome.

As much as I love some songs on Gore, I think the difference between those two albums and the rest of their LPs is pretty huge. For Gore, the problem is the production, and for Adrenaline, it's the songwriting.

yeah i feel similarly. Gore doesn't really have the punch-in-the-face awesome factor of pretty much everything they did after Adrenaline. some dude "wtf"d me when I said Gore was their 2nd-worst once, & i can think of few things more arbitrary than that

I like Gore quite a bit but it just doesn’t compare to the rest of their discog. This is more of a compliment than anything. I’m not saying Gore is bad, I’m saying that their discog is extremely impressive considering their worst two albums are pretty damn good.

What Happened to You is gorgeous. I get people not really digging it as a closer but the more I think about it the more I love it. It’s clearly about Chi, there isn’t another song that could’ve closed this record.

Adrenaline is easily better than Gore.

Adrenaline has it’s own unique sound within the band’s discography and has a bunch of classic tracks

Gore is just a complete retread of KNY but with trash production. Doesn’t even look like the band plays songs from Gore live anymore judging by their recent setlists.
