I mean I still have to take the class in college but it wouldn't cripple my chances to getting into colleges. My APUSH teacher literally works in Louisville in the summer to grade AP exams (not to mention has worked that position as well as teaching high school for over 30 years), so I think I can trust his word when he says colleges care more that you attempt an AP class and do well in it rather than how well you did on the AP exam itself (as long as it isn't a 1 anyway, I think)

i think ur teacher meant taking the AP course and having that on ur transcript is a good thing because it def is.
but if you send them that score you lose all the points you earned for taking the course
