I feel like I’ve said this before but I don’t expect someone with an asking Alexandria 4 to “get” converge. It’s fine. Incessantly negatively bumping threads of a band with near universal acclaim is pretty funny but I’m not sure you’re going to get roses for it here

Lol here’s my issue with converge and it’s fans in general. Everyone on this site thinks they’re in some exclusive club and gains self righteousness from digging such an abrasive sound with their “counter culture” “us against the world” mentality. You know everyone else enjoys equally abrasive music without having a stick up their ass and being able to take criticism of their band? That’s because this shit isn’t about the music. It’s about identifying with an idea and community. One that I don’t like and never wanted to be a part of. I just want to listen to good music and these guys dont measure up at all to their brethren of tdep, botch, knut, pig destroyer, etc that make truly affective music and go about their day
