"Also I'd say that Pale Communion doesn't have too much in common with Heritage, the differences are quite huge."

what are you talking about? there's no gain, growls, or double bass drums i mean could they be any more similar

The approach is pretty different. While the songs on Heritage were pretty scatterbrained, jazzy and dynamic, the songs on PC did not have these contrasts and were therefore more boring imo. It's a different beast, but they are closer to eachother than they are to the DM stuff. I can see quite some similarities between Watershed and Heritahe though

@Vald - Usually when someone mentions Meshuggah it is the call of the Lucca. Also a Meshuggah collab with them now would basically just have me fast forwarding to the Meshuggah sections.

@Darius - gargle my balls, you ball gargling machine

@Darius - You're goddamn right I'm compensating for my medium sized dick. More guitar strings = more inches

@Yald/Vald (is that a V or a Y) - True, it would be interesting. Meshuggah + literally anything though would be the best music ever.

But seriously thinking about that sound more, that would be fucking dope, and I am really pretty prejudiced about post Ghost Reveries Opeth.

Nope, Heritage is amazing

So is Meshuggah, I'd rather listen to them and be little downstairs than the other way around m/m/m/

Watershed might be better than I remember, but I just have t engrained in my mind as the album that came after ghost reveries (was a little dissappointed when this came out)

Also I was excited for heritage cause I thought it would be interesting to hear prog Opeth, but that one disappointed me because it was so much more bland than i was expecting - it wasn’t terrible but for opeth it was unnaceptable imo

Next two albums didn’t wow me either - once again, not terrible by any stretch of the imagination but they just bore the fuck out of me :-/

Fair enough. GR is one of their best, and PC and Sorceress were difinite disappointments
