i dont blame anyone for avoiding the absolute dregs, i think i'm just weird and knowing how i've often found a lot more value in music others considered bad, sometimes the bottom charts can net me a hidden gem that does way more for me than it does everyone else. i was probably one of the only people with semi-positive things to say about that Gabbie Hanna album, i do NOT like being that person that just dumps on something while it's down unless it's really deserved like a BOTDF almost all my 1's are either genuinely unlistenable to me or there's some moral reason behind it. OR I was just being a jackass years ago and never revisited the album I was being a jackass about

i even have the basis for it: their super detuned guitar style, back then i used to hate that metalcore was going down below Drop A for some weirdass reason. "Drop G Trendcore" was some shit I used to say. you would've seen some alex jones tier conspiracy op ed about how the deep tone is convincing people heavy automatically = good
