I don't want to hear American flagash's fantasy radiohead Playlist I want to hear a cohesive, intentionally assembled product. Saying they just put them like that so fans can order it how they want just reinforces this being just a collection of songs with no conceptual dynamism

This is much more fluid than with teeth imo. All the points you made about with teeth are accurate, but i wouldnt agree that they're true with this record. To each his own tho

i don't see what's wrong with the tracklist. i don't see how you can say there's no conceptual dynamism when everything is totally seamless. i guess you could maybe view the last two-to-three songs as a bit of a lull pacing-wise, but other than that this thing always flowed like a river, even back when the songs themselves hadn't really clicked yet

Yeah the track order isn't even bad, but Daydreaming should be in the second half and not come after Burn the Witch.

I get his point but what I was specifically referring to in my comment was a list Sowing made a few months back with his own track ordering for this album, and I commented where Spectre and Harry Patch should go, and that's the track order I use now.

Lmao at all these comments. Saying this album flows well is indisputably wrong. Be more objective.

Be more objective = stop allowing fan boy bias to blind you from extremely obvious and empirical musical facts

It doesn't help that the spokesperson for this album having good flow is flag, the most biased person on the entire site towards painfully alternative indie crap. You two can spew butthurt deflections all you want but neither of you have made a solid case for this having good flow at all. I've explained in great detail how the flow is terrible throughout this thread.

The only person who has made an even remotely decent case for this having good flow is poly. You guys just have such shit, unconvincing points for it that you have to resort to just being Sandy about the truth
