evidently they’re having a one off show headlining in Louisville during the middle of their run with Meshuggah.

Copped tickets to that so fuckin quick. The venues ig post said “What’s the biggest band you ever saw in a small room?”

Im gonna have to head straight there and straight back after the show because of work but I don’t give a shit. I’m so fucking stoked for this.

They played the title track live during their run with Meshuggah this month, probably my personal highlight from their setlist

agreed this directly followed by predatory glow was the peak for me as well

told the friend i went with that converge was a bucket list band for me to see live. after their set he was like "damn man sorry they only played like six songs" i guess cause of all the seemless transitions and i was like nah that was like 15 songs lmao

Can't decide whether this, AtF or YFM is their best album

It screws up the prod too heavily on the title track which is the best song on the album, otherwise I love it

They're prob the two best yeah. I've settled on this as their best after going through their discog again recently. Glacial Pace and Vicious Muse deserve all the love they can get, same with the title track and Aimless Arrow.

YFM title track is still my favourite Converge song and I think they do the whole sludge thing better than most artists

Yeah Trespasses is a given too but everyone mentions it, whereas I think Vicious Muse and Glacial Pace are kind of overlooked.
