There are far worse albums out there more deserving of a 1.0 score, but each to their own and all that.

Nah this is actually pretty great. The first two albums kinda suck though.

Yep the first two are inconsistent at best with some amazing songs buried within all the boring. This album though is just a complete slamdunk.

Tundra is a contrarian, whatever the most prevalent opinion is of something, he goes against it.

Geez this album is still making people toxic to each other

@Doc: look at Amo's nowadays, aside from the 1 being higher than 1.5 everything appears to be pretty alright these days. This graph looks insane lmao

Ironically my enjoyment of this can't let me help fix the graph because this needs more 1.5s and 2.5s to get to that symmetrical shape, we actually need more negative ratings other than 1 to fix this thing LOL

Not an answer to my question. It’s groovy being insane

Honestly I'm just surprised the graph still has yet to settle on an obvious curve like Amo has with 3-3.5, it's either super hated 1-2 or loved 3.5-4 with no in between judging by what I see here

Hell, I've seen graphs where the top 2 ratings are 1 and 5 and thats probably what I would've expected this to get to if not a normal one

i don't hate it, i just find a lot of the songs underwhelming and underbaked. i think i got over my initial feelings about it being really artificial and came to appreciate it in places but they just have to work on the songwriting.

that and some of the performances - the dude's screams just aren't good. say what you like about his cleans but i do think they're pretty fitting - can't say the same about his screams and it takes me out of the experience every time.

there's more songs here i dislike than like so i'm pretty solidly on a 2. i do think they have potential if they apply focus in the right places though, i'll be listening to what they do next.

i think noctus' stance is entirely fair, i can see where someone would get that this isn't quite there yet, it just tickles something in my brain and i can't help it, vessel's screams are pretty diet-george clarke but i don't hate it

personally i envy the kind of person who'd listen to this, while the entire Blood on the Dance Floor discography exists, and say with a straight face that this is the worst album ever made

if this was the floor to me, then by god i'd be lucky to have never heard crunkcore (with Pizzamachine being the sole exception i know... I do not count Breathe Carolina among those ranks), bro-country, extratone, or any other genre that I think sounds almost entirely unlistenable

everyone knows botdf is a waste of time, some people actually think this is good so people actually tried to listen to it lol

you'd be surprised, back in the day i had an ex (about 2 years after we split, back when we were together she was super into Lil Wayne who is infinitely better - shit, even REBIRTH sounds like a masterpiece compared to Dahvie) try to turn me onto them when I was getting into mxc and emo phxc style stuff and i was confused by why she'd send me that, i thought it was some of the most offensively rank music i'd ever heard

this sounds like Mozart in comparison, and i get the bar is underground but this has some actual production and honest to god ambition behind it so even if I wasn't crazy about it (like i said, this still tickles my brainwaves right even as the hype wore off) i feel like i'd always have some level of underlying respect for the attempt at being bold with genre-bending weirdness

i just meant people here who do ratings lol

most people don't truly waste their time listening to stuff that everyone knows is garbage, it makes perfect sense for someone to check this out of curiosity since music pubs praise this and it's actually popular.

@future: sometimes i do whenever i feel like i'm being too cynical about stuff, it's a good reminder to me that very little of the stuff in this realm that music pubs praise is near as offensively bad as the absolute dregs of music that exist in those circles

i'm a little peeved that RYM removed the bottom charts but i was probably 1 of 5 users not just using it to rate-bomb things
