Washer lil circling guitar hook is wonderful. Song kinda feels "classic"--the bones of the writing could have happened much earlier than 1991, or something. And yet still that creepy vibe that feels modern. good stuff

If Fopp is anything that’s not a weird rock bar type thing, that’s pretty extraordinary. Just so not public-place music.

Cambridge circus, so wankers guaranteed — love the shop though, perfect balance of a HMV-style chain with an indie skew (and many DVDs). Good prices too, never go there for the thrill of finding something new like you get in the old record shops (though this was another story when I was an undergrad), but I invariably leave happy + with something I know I like and could do with owning

grabbed a Miles Davis LP+CD combo for 20 or so, but if you stick with CD and play your cards right, you can pick him out at almost £1/hour of music

“london rules tbh“

kinda does but depends v much on whereabouts (obvs) + I wouldn’t wanna live there anymore. Good thing really as I couldn’t afford anywhere decent in that neck of the woods nowadays tbh
