Metallica in their prime were definitely one of the best thrash bands ever. Not THE best - I'd say Coroner, Heathen, Anacrusis, Voivod, and others have them beat, but they were still up there with the very best.

Coronor were not as radical as voivod. I love Voivod because they sound the least like metallica and early thrash.
