I have only heard MBDTF but didn't really like it safe for 1-2 songs. What is his strongest album lyrically, I may give it a chance.

I mean, if lyrics are good, it's a bonus, but otherwise quit caring so much and perhaps explore genres of books instead.
if you listen to metal and have the gall to complain about lyrics tho, you should probably reevaluate your life

i dont think it's unreasonable to want good lyrics from hip hop, but i dont think it should be a dealbreaker either at the same time

hip hop and rap has def evolved to be more than just about the lyrics obviously but to say "holy fuck, if you think lyrics are an integral part of rap/hip-hop pls kill yourself."

i mean thats the fucking dumbest shit ive ever heard honestly

@sach

I listen to anything that sounds interesting to me. I don't compare metal to hip hop, or expect any kind of Tool-esque lyrics. Plus I enjoy hip hop once in a while, but it happens for me to dislike certain songs, just like any normal human being.

why should i be on either extreme. lyrics are important in hip hop generally speaking, but they're not the be all, end all. it's not one or the other fam
