fresh relisten and jeez Dear Death would be one of the best songs in the band's discog if it was combined into one track
but also Part 2 has a wild tone mismatch of sad lyrics and super upbeat almost-pop-punk melodies and that cheesy synth and i love it all so much

yeah part 1 is just an interlude but it's gorgeous , and part 2 is just a wild amount of emotion to pack in such a tight, catchy framework.
Screw it, I'm 5ing this. It'll never top The Question in my mind, but it's astoundingly consistent from beginning to end.
Eve was divisive for sure but it's so emotionally raw I can't help but love it. And speaking of incredible 1-2 punches, Streets of Gold/Name Your God, I mean wow

Other than I'm Only a Man I listened to the shit out of all their albums up to Eve. Which I found pretty good but forgettable. Never even listened to their most recent one. I'm honestly not even sure if I knew they released a new album or if I saw it and forgot.
