Just saw Sleep Token for the first time and I must admit, they can definitely put on a show. Their music works far better in an arena setting than on disc, even their more intimate tracks are elevated to new heights. I'm starting to see the hype. Call me impressed.

Bilmuri were pretty cool too.

Can Vessel (hate this name tbh) nail vocals live??? Do their vocals sound better or worse live? After seeing the AuD ticket price for BMTH and Sheeptoken i couldnt imagine paying 200 quid to see that. I only looked at the prices om behalf of my friend.

Honestly, I thought he sounded better live. I'm not a fan of his "breath-y" vocals he pulls off in the recordings, but you can't tell he's doing that on stage. He has a surprisingly powerful voice too during songs like The Summoning, he absolutely nails those big choruses.

The whole band sounded better in general. I feel like their music is built for an arena setting. I was shocked how much I enjoyed their performance. Even the songs from their first two albums (which I actively disliked) sounded huge in person.
