Colton hasn't bothered engaging in a serious conversation since 2017 or so, those fond memories you're having are surely from longer ago that you think.

hahaha I don't think he was on the site in 2017. I know where I place colton's decline as a user, but there's no need to make excuses for someone who just isn't interested in contributing positively anymore--I just cringe at that kind of weirdly violent personal attack. there's no seriousness behind any of this I suppose, but I'll do "too much [x user]!" as an innocuous comment if someone brings it there--does anyone except johnny?--probably no matter what

I get a little lost with "for dinner..." and "don aman" (pleb filter ik) but it's really spectacular. I've said this before, but few singers project "inwardness"/antisociality as much as this guy

new topic of conversation please jfc is it that hard to drop a passing fuck off you should never have joined the site on a page full of em and move on? 'no need to make excuses for someone who just isn't interested in contributing positively anymore' is moot as anything - almost as bad for discourse to be haemorrhaging discussion over it (apologies to all for the points at which i've done this, glad we have better things to talk about now)

"I just cringe at that kind of weirdly violent personal attack"

do a little more to address that time you did exactly this and swept it under the carpet, and maybe i'll take this comment seriously (and do it elsewhere - not interested in continuing this conversation on this page)

this is indeed a good album and For Dinner is 10/10

aw cmon you had to say I've made a violent attack? if the "attack" was potsy then yeah that was a little out of character for me insofar as I made an unusual effort to reference his own character and dig in on making him feel bad, which I regret and apologized to him for, but "violent" is almost certainly gross mischaracterization, I never do that. might wanna brush up on that word ditto "gaslighting"

I mean if we are being pedantic about violent attacks, I think your original comment has a lot to answer for

I will genuinely be surprised, ashamed, and apologize to the person to whom I said it if I ever said something like "people who orient themselves toward a music album in a particular way deserve to have drowned early in their life"

"might wanna brush up on that word ditto "gaslighting""

if you don't see the absurd and p ugly level of irony that this has in the context of a post of you dictating the register and repercussions of your speech while looking to erase second- (and third-)party judgements to the contrary, then that's another reason i'd enjoy it if you shut the fuck up and backed off thank you very much

maybe it was an error of judgement to use a drownable puppy as a figure for a garbage user, but i do not need another bout of trademarked robertsona condescending hypocrisy to seal it

"Guitar tone sounds like cobwebs"

actually it sounds like granite and spilled motor oil with 4% iridescence

bumping rating because of this realization

I’m saying your original mention of a violent attack, if we are being pedantic, is quite obviously a stretch. Not that you have enganged in “violent attacks”

Or in other words, you’re just as much engaged in a gross mischaracterisatilm, as you put it above

On my iPhone not editing the typos

no I'm not! violent words exist, verbal attacks exist. there's a bit of slippage because violent physical attacks exist and are worse, but "drowned like a puppy" while Just Words is different (and worse, to me?) from "this album sux lol" and also from anything I said about or to pots (which Johnny said was just as violent). This is not a distinction worth making?

"They never should of given those spiders all that land"

the spiders were there first and had a right to reside in those lands, wouldn't hurt you to do your fookin homework. I swear to god

Anyway, great thread everyone. I think
