Of all time? For me top 💯. Uh,,, top 75 most likely, top 50? Ehhhh, maybe. Definitely not in the top 15 I’m sure of that tho. Not even sure this is their best album when I listen to The Changing of Times, Cries of The Past, others. This band overall tho? Erase Me can’t hurt their legacy it just doesn’t get counted for me.

im ngl stuck between this and disambiguation for best underoath, none of the dallas albums hit for me the way the 2006-2010 run does. erase me is prolly the weakest spencer era record realistically but i have a connection with it still, as most of you are well aware

Underoath probably has 3 top 100 all time albums and is a top 25 overall band.

Disambiguation was once my fav Underoath album for about two years. Haven’t listened to it in a long time. In fact I’ve listened to Cries of the Past 6 times since the last time I heard ø

in fact i actually love disambig for the exact reason it turned me off at first, it was too much, it was dark, moody, and oppressive as hell, and now that's why i love it. that's the exact same process converge had for me really.

feel like this is objectively their best. Not only for uo heads but i mean it received the most critical acclaim w the grammys and all that.. inspired the sound that literally shaped the genre itself for a few years.. was the album that really cemented their sound.. ya.
That said though, I think Disambig’s the better of the two personally, but it’s hard to ignore DTGL’s accolades

Def think this is their best but they're all pretty close pre-hiatus imo i.e the 3 Spencer albums after TOCS

This and LITSOS are about tied for me. I think Spencer's screams are stronger here, and I love how well they blended the heavy with the poppy stuff. LITSOS has some moments that are almost as heavy as Aaron.

I'm still a sucker for their early 2000's stuff, TOCS especially. But yeah both albums did not age very well.

TOCS aged like milk for the most part

TOCS is still incredible I love it a lot, just not as good as the 3 that follow it

i mean some songs hit more than others, i still love reinventing, down set go, im content with losing, and the closer more than many later songs tbh

TOCS is one of the perfect post-hardcore albums of its time. If that's not your bag though, fair enough. I hated it when it came out.
