I was just praising and remembering the band few days ago, but suddenly, i woke up and the news are at my fb, really sad news, this is the metal act, and particulary with this album, that got me into melodeath very early on, Laiho was undoubtly one of the most talented and impressive guitarists ever

I still have tender memories of listening to the early CoB albums countless times in my teenage years, my jaw dropping every time he'd burst into a lightning-fast solo. 15 yo me thought Alexi was the coolest bloke ever.
Perhaps the most instrumental band and artist in my getting into metal. This hits really hard... RIP Alexi and thanks for everything.
