This is quite a straightforward approach in comparison to subsequent releases. It totally rips but it took a long time to fully click for me. Album closer is amongst their top tracks.

Oh yeah this one slays. I think this album through Wrongdoers is my favorite run for them.

Where should I start with these guys?

What’s worked well for me in the past is either just going chronologically front to back, or start with what is considered the band’s best/masterpiece, then going back to the beginning and going chronologically.

That actually made me think a bit. I'd say probably chronologically just because their sound evolved so much, but their earlier albums were hugely influential on the 2000s metalcore scene it's hard not to recommend starting there. Plus, they kick ass!

Got it. Typically the best way to check a band out, thx man!

So did they have two different singers in their career?

At least two as far as I know. Their original frontman left to start The Chariot and '68!

Scogin makes Bless the Martyr what it is but Corey is still amazing.

Agreed both are super solid and fit well with the band.

I went ahead and checked Wrongdoers out before I go back to the beginning, but man…what a masterpiece. I think I’ll be listening to it for at least a few weeks before I go back to Martyr.
