Well I really loved Damn, one of my most listened to Kendrick albums (good Kid is still the GOAT of course)
And I thought Mr Morale was boring as fuck.
Also, I recognize the "greatness" or whatever of To Pimp a Butterfly, but I can like never listen to that thing straight through - there are a lot of skippable stuff there on repeat listens imo
So I who knows what I'll think of this lol. I'll throw this on at some point today.

He puts on a good show from the one time I saw him. Had to leave halfway to catch RTJ tho

in terms of hip hop artists he's easily one of the better live performers. didn't use a backing track at all when i saw him and (for those not a fan of the goofy voices) raps every song in his normal voice live.
also had a huge stage show with pyro, big screens, dancers etc.
think he's def worth the money if you're a fan of his music and have the budget.

will say though... i see a shocking amount of people on social media who complain about paying hundreds of dollars only for the artist to not perform their songs exactlyyyyyyy like the record... and kendrick is kinda public enemy no. 1 to these people lmao good to know just in case that somehow bothers you
also please do not buy tickets expecting him to play anything from tpab besides alright and king kunta... or literally anything from section 80. it'll be a heavy gkmc/damn setlist besides the new songs.

I’m honestly totally fine with that, it’s probably my favorite of his but idk how much I’d wanna see him play a bunch of tracks off it

You could swap some of the u/u songs in for a couple of the TPAB tracks that are more skippable and have maybe his hardest 5 imo

After about 20 full run through I can officially say that peekaboo could've been left off the album and it wouldve made it even better
