The underoath comparison makes total sense to me. Which I welcome

I really dig the cleans here. And yeah there is a very heavy Underoath influence here.

I think Blood Moon and No Gospel are superb, and Palo, Leviathan, Divination, and Distant Omen are all excellent too. Everything else for me ranges from pretty good to sorta bad - mostly with the last two songs which just suck. The last track is particularly rough because I’m just not a fan of the cleans. Way too long too, absolutely undeserving of 1/6 of the album’s total run time

Damn, last two songs are big highlights for me. Not liking cleans vocals I can be ok with, but saying songs sucks? That's wild.

Pretty good album. They are playing at The Fest this year, so I might check their set out.

Bodega Head left me numb at the end in the best possible way. I was driving down the highway when I first heard it. What an album

I do love that this album has something as overtly catchy as Transfiguration on it

Guitar solo in Leviathan is so good

This sounds crazy but parts of this, especially the guitar work, really remind me of the more wild side of the swancore stuff, especially A Lot Like Birds.
Also Chris Teti from TWIABP produced this, and I feel like I hear some similar tonalities between this and their latest album.
