I'm not sure how to say this without coming across as rude so sorry if it ends up being that way
No one on this site cares or knows about your music. That's not to say it's bad or anything, we don't know if it is or not. I think it's rather self-defeating to endlessly compare yourself to a professionally recorded band who likely make a living or semi-living from their music and thus open themselves up to a broader range of criticism and analysis through their wider audience. You as a random person on the internet who apparently makes music probably have an audience that consists of a few friends and family members, which is the default starting point for any artist. You are not comparable, and this isn't the first time I've seen you whining about this same thing, I seem to remember a thread a couple years back (escape the fate maybe?) where you were doing exactly this. People can disagree about whether someone else's emotions appear genuine or not, none of this is about you and it would help you in the long run to stop trying to weave your own person into being part of random bands online just to take offence wheb someone criticizes them.

'you got buttmad over me correcting you on my pronouns, we know you're a conservative.'
Ah yes because anybody calling a dumb twat out over their pettiness on an anon internet forum instantly makes them a conservative
Also interesting to note you didn't even attempt to tackle my points in that post or in this current post.
Can you please stop talking pure rubbish?
'We literally were yes'
Lol, nonsense, late stage capitalism is marxist cope for why the glorious revolution hasn't happened yet despite the fact that all the nonsense they point towards being late stage capitalism has been happening literally forever in many different economic systems.

Groundking surely that little pearl stems from a disagreement with Ernest Mandel's model of dominant finance capital representing a destabilization of the material base, and you're not just blowing hot air about topics you don't know the first damn thing about?
Also jsky you're on thin ice after those comments the other day I would type kindly and carefully if I were you

@Sint: it's quite simple really. if people are accusing artists of exploiting people just because they dislike the songs, and those songs they're accusing of being exploitative inspire new artists to explore music, wouldn't the same critique apply to the new artists too for being inspired by them?

Credit flows have ruled the economic world since we started lending to people taking on economic endeavours, nothing fundamental has changed in how credit is allocated over the three different 'capitalist periods' Mandel talks about. Banks still work the same way today as they did in 1750 as Richard Werner has proven.

Also Mandel like all marxists show exceptional economic ignorance when you consider the fact that they think capitalism is a recent thing rather than a process that's been going on back to 600ad when the first true industrial revolution started with the watermill revolution leading to 6500 watermills in England alone at the writing of the doomsday book. Nowhere else in the world was labour saving employed to the same extent as in Europe.
If this lead to increasingly insecure resource supply like Mandel claims why is it resource security has only increased in the last 1400 years?

Kind of weird to think I'm somehow not comparable even though those artists getting dog piled on are the exact ones that I'm inspired by tbh.
