I barely listen to any black metal, but this and the latest Blut Aus Nord will easily make my top 5 for this year. I hear new things each time I listen to this and the way additional vocals just float in and out of the mix is incredibly well done. Yoshiko Ohara once again elevates fits perfectly on ‘City Of Shame’.

This started out as an oddity to me with some "shit vocals" but I am starting to come around. I kind of forced myself to listen to this as a challenge to myself to "get it" for whatever reason and I think that is starting to happen. Now I look forward to listening to this almost daily.
