"dont think ive ever read a rym review, any bad goldies to check out?"
imagine an entire site populated with ajcollins15 alts and you'll get a quick sense of why reefa's illiterate pigheadedness + pretence in interest at the hip n happening that stands in brutal contrast to his 100-album "best ofs" peppered with radiohead and friends are actually the lesser evil

After an hour of listening to this pretentious wankfest, even my boner hurt. Next time that I want 'experimental rock', i'll listen to the mars volta, thank you very much.

johnnys right tbh

check out the charts for memphis rap, or any genre. some new flavor of the week bullshit will always beat the OGs. lil ugly mane's meme record beats three 6 mafia? lol neck

hell look at the all time charts. does anyone older than 22 REALLY think kendrick made the greatest album of all time? and i say that as someone who thinks kendrick is pretty ok

sputnik is cool cause its somewhat frozen in time a bit, we're the last music community where youre allowed to enjoy led zeppelin

RYM hype usually isnt indicative of quality, its just like "oh im 20 and this is my first *insert genre* album"

granted rym still has a way better database and you can discover great obscure shit from the cool people (i.e. old lists)

sputnik is just more fun though

everything will be mid in the end. That is the destiny of all things.
I also find most of the interesting stuff i listen to through RYM lists.

granted this userbase sucks too but at least sputnik kinda feels like a bar. sure the old bar was bought by some vegans during gentrification and beer costs $11 a pint now. but its still a bar

rym is like a psych ward/daycare/anime high school thing
