Genuinely curious how someone willingly posting reviews on Sputnik has any idea what the "cultural pulse" is.

Lmao same Million. Absolutely no reason why that song should be 6 minutes long.

I need kendrick to stop singing so much, cuz lately when he does it’s like super basic SoundCloud melodies. At least his bars shred here

1000 gecs and Donda are good calls. This one is just sinking like a rock though, wasn't expecting such a negative reaction lol

How is steppers an easy highlight? I mean I like it but it’s basically the same beat over and over again. United in Grief demolishes ass tho

[2] incredibly frontloaded album but he definitely sticks the landing on the last two tracks. Mirror especially is amazing.

Steppers rules. That menacing beat is incredibly simple, but effective in communicating the storytelling.

What’s the appeal of Mirror apart from the lyrics?

Menacing is honestly a good descriptor for this album. Definitely moments that are purposely uneasy.

I’m coming around to Rich Spirit - it’s honestly a hilarious track and it helps it’s one of the shortest tracks on here. Maybe not hilarious but has a positive vibe comparatively and really tells a good story of the “rich spirit” that says fuck it to mental issues and personal demons in favor of embracing celebrity.

Also while I’m here, when it comes to duet songs, Purple Hearts >>> LOYALTY.
