You see this is why I should catalogue things more, occasionally I'm there thinking 'right, time to check that essential band I've been meaning to check for six zillion years and never got around to'...



then it's an endless game of trying to remember one of them, seems like these guys never came up at the opportune moment.

First spin through and it's alright. It'll probably take a few to click but my initial reaction is it doesn't have the same variation as "Empty Black". "Echo and Dust pt.2" is one of my favorite closers from the past few years.

But I wouldn't pit this album to the high of Echo and Dust. It's too different. Its highs and its flow are different. Go in with an open mind.
