I don’t know how they could ever top this EP, like I think this is about as good as you can do this sub-genre

also I can’t think about this EP and not take the video into account. Imo that’s a huge aspect of the total project

I agree Tgreenz455. It's difficult to imagine Knocked Loose topping this. I think the EP format even works best for this level of chaos and punishment.

The video is one of the best I’ve ever seen, god knows (ha) how long and how much work was put into it. Can’t think of another EP or LP that that utilizes visuals and music that well. It feels like it’s more than just a traditional EP/LB, only description I I can think of is a “project”

Can't really get over how good this shit is. Full album like this would be game over for the genre.
This EP deserves a 4'2 avg min

I still get astounded by how good their ideas are on here. You can tell these guys just breathe hardcore. Isaac is a legit mastermind, his other band Inclination is also fuckin gas

“Isaac crushes and his vocals are way better than Bryans” [2]
Bryan’s vocals are good and all, but I’m a sucker for shrill shriek-y screams

I'm sorry but Bryan's vocals are such a pillar for this band that I can't put Isaac's over them.
|

Oh wait, I just looked up the lineup, and I’m hella mixed up. Yeah, Bryan is the one I was thinking of, his vocals are my shit

The start of God Knows goes dummy hard

Bryan rules [1234]
They're a little jarring at first but after the initial shock you realize how awesome they actually are lol. Just sounds pissed off all the time.

DSOB was good but a full album this heavy would be an AOTY contender for sure

Especially together. That shit’s tight

would love to see them play this front to back, it just flows so damn well

Honestly I think this record is the perfect length. A full LP of material like this would be exhausting.
|

In principle this should be good but there’s something about going for the heaviest possible sound that feels incredibly contrived
