lmfao yeah that moment was great, loved that they played "Grand Paradise" and "Nearer My God," those were transcendent

I definitely always felt like these songs would be a fucking blast live. It's not as good on record as NMG, but I'd love to be in a pre or post pandemic pit during the chorus of "If I Believed In Love".

The crowd at the Manchester Orchestra show wasnt really doing much for them but the pit was lively at their record release show. Hope they headline again soon. A few people I talked to didnt even know who they were.

Idk I always give openers a shot before the show so I know what to expect.

Surprised Manchester Orchestra fans wouldn't know Foxing, seems like a no-brainer mix to me

A lot of them were a little older. Like 40’s and 50’s.

I think the guys in Foxing are still in their 20’s so maybe the age gap has something to do with it?

Whatever still a great show.

Were you at the LA show? Yeah the crowd was terrible

I don’t think I’ve seen anything funnier than full grown men moshing to “The Gold “

nah STL. I was even more shocked that people were just now hearing about them considering they’re a home town band.

It doesn’t help that the local rock/alt station doesn’t promote them at all even though half the songs on this new album are right up their alley. I’m shocked Go Down Together didn’t become a huge hit here.

wouldn't necessarily expect this out of the MO crowd, but I suppose I could see it.

Chevelle is their artist of the month. Shit like that but I've heard poppier stuff on it before.

and yeah feather I was a little surprised too. I'd never seen MO before and definitely expected a younger crowd.

I accidentally timed going to the concert poorly and missed all but the last 2 songs of foxings set :/ Manchester Orchestra killed it though

I was properly introduced to these guys on MO's Mean Everything to Nothing anniversary tour in 2019, and they absolutely brought the house down. I'll never forget hearing the guitar solo on Lich Prince and thinking where the actual fuck did that come from?
