album cover requires the relevant visuals to take this all in properly, my puny imagination only gets me so far

Government Came is one of my favorite pieces from these guys. Really reaches the heights of their other discography highlights with that one even if the rest of this isn't quite so breathtaking.

new SE 'deluxe' version with alternate naming options coming your way for the very reasonable sum of all your money

only seen opeth live once even though they are pretty much a regular in my country and granted it was a festival gig so probably not the best setting for them but either way had a blast. could definitely benefit from a more intimate setting

but to not derail the discussion i can't stress enough how fucking amazing these guys sound live, they apparently played a couple of new songs as well. the first one was like half an hour long and i don't know what it was but i didn't want it to ever end. the second one was kinda meh though

I don't think they'll do that

they allow bootlegging and there are days-worth of live performances you can already access

Awesome! Just bought tickets for the Grand Rapids show, thanks for the heads up!!!! I cant believe I am going to see this band live. Last year I saw Swans, and not Godspeed!

I've lost count of how many times I've seen them live

I made it my goal to make GY!BE my most watched live band because I found it too depressing to have a former friends mediocre grunge band be nr 1

only caught them live one time and on a heroic dose of shrooms. It was quite an experience
