@Drifter Check Augment asap bro; you'll probably understand why a few of us think this sounds like crap by comparison (and/or in general) after you do.

That 2.5 hurts. Even if you don't like this (which is wack), I feel like this is still a 3 at least

Honestly. Really thought the homie Jeet would have been on board with this

I've noted he's very unpredictable. One of the most unpredictable users on the site ratings-wise

jeet rules agreed
also like not hard to see why this isnt for everyone particularly those who find jesse inconsistent given a lot of these songs are pretty centered around his hooks

idk how they used to be live w jt but they kicked ass last night. for all the mixed things ive heard about jesses live voice guy honestly held up pretty well the whole night, and the sound was so huge and beefy. all the songs off this were as massive as id hoped and the 1 song from drift and neon each sounds much better than the studio (irreversible particularly hit waaay harder than the studio version)

They've always been pretty tight live, Jesse can be off on some nights but most of the time he's been good live. JT has a pretty strong voice live, I used to think he kinda sucked at doing Garrison/Ian songs but he's improved pretty drastically to be able to perform all of their catalog pretty well at this point. Very rad you got to see them tho, I gotta catch them too

yea jt has come a long way since he joined for sure. sounded great most of the time and mixed up his vocals a lot, even for the drift/neon songs where hes not really doing that in the studio. woulda loved if they broke out a song from before he was in the band but given theyre in an opening slot i kinda expected they wouldnt anyway. hoping ill see those songs whenever they headline next year, as well as this records glorious deep cuts
but yea they ruled. def the best band of the night since rest of the bill was kinda weak lmao as lmtf have never done anything thats stuck w me, ffak were playing mostly from the last two, and leveler is bottom 3 abr for me (catch me in 2 years when they play r&r in full tho)

catch me in 2 years when they play r&r in full tho [2] absolutely lol
FFAK used to be so much fun live, then they stopped playing stuff from before Dark Skies so it hasn't been as good of a time lol. I saw them summer of 2019, and while it was good, they only played 1 song from before Dark Skies and it was Deathgrip.
I'll catch Erra on a headliner, the tour they're on now comes by my neck of the woods at a time that I'll be busy of course

The more I listen to this, the more I love it. This album being rated lower than Eternal Blue is very strange, but then again that album is new. Erra really know how to make some beautiful songs, and this is up there with my favorite albums.
