I mean that's according to their singer, can't recall the interview, I don't really hear it that much on their latest record save for some of their melodic moments, hard to compare this to Bellavista

but yeah wildcard you should def check them out, one of the most creative screamo acts out there

Revisiting this album before tonight show, and it's still fresh as fuck. Even has that summery vibe on Reminders.

yes I am! Really excited even though they apparently don't play Is Survived By songs except for Anyone / Anything.

And Boneflower as support act will be fun too.

Thanks for bumping this, just jammed it in full this morning. Such a great album, stage 4 is still my personal favorite though

I once went to see them live alone on a particularly difficult week after losing someone. Quite an emotional show.

Twas a fucking great show and Lament songs are really good live, especially Reminders with everyone in the crow belting out the chorus.

I talk a little with Jeremy after and apparently they're working on a Is Survived By remaster đź‘€

Revisiting this album lately, I think it's their second best after Stage Four.

They are insane live, think they are in my top 3 ever and i've seen maybe 60 bands live.

I mean check this out:

“Oh my God Jeremy is a sweet pea”

after they played that song opening for Deafheaven Jeremy was like “yeah we really weren’t sure if we wanted to play the pop song in front of a metal crowd” lmao I love him

A Forecast is so slept on, really might be my favorite track on the record

“But that’s the way it goes

I’ve healed more than suffered,

I found the patience for jazz

I still love the Coen Brothers”
