Meh, that's nitpicking, tbh. Dudes did it for the streaming numbers and revenue, and can't blame them for that.

Yeah, I'm definitely going to tear it up if they ever play "Messiah Complex" live.

Had to re-enter this for safechecking my initial listening experience and the Messiah Complex started to feel a little disjointed to me. Vector was great for what it was, this one falls off at some point. Missing some groovy Veil-esque transitions here as well. Still can't believe they chose to keep the tape for Only Stars considering that terrible intonation. This is still pretty good, overall lol.

Checked this yesterday as well. It's better than I remember, but for some reason Messiah Complex just doesn't really live up to what it promised. A good album, not a huge fan though

Not a 5 at all for these ears, but an excellent album for sure.

That's fair. I just can't think of a single song that I'd cut from this. Each one is unique, catchy, and full of interesting moments. I really don't usually rank albums so high but this one hit the right spot.

I legit think this album would be better if we just cut the first two songs and started with Carousel

Lol, a guy with a 5 is mad at someone with a 4. That's just .. stupid. Album would be better without the opener, agreed. Invasion rules tho

agreed, not on the Prosthetic thing tho, explain in great detail why that song is "bad", cause I don't see it

counter argument, sick riff, sick chorus, sick solo, nil by mouth reference, one of the best songs on Vector, nothing about the song is dull whatsoever

Neither are bad songs per se (actually maybe Prosthetic is) but I don't think it sets the tone of the album right and is hardly a strong opener either.

Would have made a bigger statement starting the album instantly with 'I've been holding on...' imo

Hell, even starting on Invasion would be better than Prosthetic. Literally worst song on the album

this is just yet another case where the internet hates a song, but I've seen many people IRL who enjoy the song a lot, someone even said to me Prosthetic was one of their favorite Haken songs once

so it's in the fine company of miley cyrus, mumford and sons etc.

Sarcasm ok, Prosthetic in general is a great introductory track to the band, it encompasses their whole sound in one track
