FDU is peak both tech and writing-wise for me (hands down their best DRUMZ ever) but in a way it doesn't have a particularly special personality compared to their classics, ultimately punishing it in my ranking

Still early doors for me on this one, but I think it's gonna be slotting in at #2 behind Draconian Times, incredible album. I very much enjoy the more melodic, mournful & gothic side of PL (inc. the cleans) so this has more appeal to me than the previous two efforts, although both still great in their own right.
