Aren't they scenecore or did they try to copy this sound

Both. Their new album is a blatant ripoff of this.

Nah, new album leans heavily towards prog Steak.

They definitely vibe a lot with IA but considering singles started coming out before this album was even released and the fact the album came out mere months later during a lockdown, I fail to see how anybody could call it a "blatant ripoff" of this.

Anyways, they definitely don't blow. The musicianship is solid and the production is good. At worst, a blatant ripoff of IA >>>>>>>>>>> majority of metalcore. People didn't seem to mind Bad Omens actually ripping off BMTH *shrug*

That If I Were You album is ok. Its so IA influenced but it misses out on what makes IA so good. They have IA-ish sounding moments but there's no real emotional connection or atmosphere. The riffs are decent but forgettable and the songs don't hook me in at all. Cant hate on it tho its just not doing anything for me personally.

Yeah just checked Black Heart and have pretty much the same opinion as Jeet. Nothing really bad about it but nothing really good either.

I don't know if it gets said enough but this band has some of the best drumming I've ever heard

Yea Trey is the unsung hero, dude writes a lot of the guitar and does a lot of songwriting as well as being a beast on the kit

Yeah agreed, Trey is a super talented dude. He also added some vocals on Luna from the first album and they're super solid too.

Yea those yells he does at the end of Luna go hard, fitting since he wrote the lyrics for that song too

Always thought his yells at the end of Luna were the best part of the song.

Same Jeet, Luna is probably my favorite IA song overall

For sure. Adds to the meaning of the song, which is really cool. But it also must have been incredibly hard for him to do those yells and perform that song ya know?

Mannnn I need to get some merch from these dudes. Every time I check they're sold out of my size or I don't like the design enough to buy it. And they need to release another EP or album because I need more of this shit lol.

Word that's awesome. I wanted that "Rain" hoodie and the wolf windbreaker they had but they both sold out so fast I couldn't get my hands on them. Bummmmmer.
