I mean, this is basically 6 mins of one riff and wailing about witches, whack on crack, Satan's jingle ad and woman repellent. What's not to love here? [2]

Full discog jam coming within the next few days once I finish the Maiden discog. Time for me to jam the rest of their stuff other than the classics.

Gonna be a sick discog run. I gotta make the pilgrimage one day too but that's quite the undertaking

19 to 20 albums, depending how one counts. I've yet to spend time properly on the 2nd half of their stuff.

I made a discog run late last year, really grew to appreciate the later stuff more, especially Headless Cross and Dehumanizer

dehumanizer is one of the most underrated albums ever. top 5 sabbath for me and actually my favorite dio album. like a mix of heaven and hell and master of reality with how heavy it is.

Dehumaniser is such a weird album, tbh. The songs are undeniably good, but I feel like the guys just did it to fulfill contractual obligations. Like they couldn't stand being together in the recording room. I think their relations were not at the highest point in those days...

The result is an album that is quite uneven. As if they copied-pasted it and packaged it as fast as they could so that they could avoid being with each other lol. I love it and I will always love it, but it's far from Sabbath's finest hour....

some of the best albums of all time were recorded under similar circumstances. i just don't agree, it is a unique album from them. it's probably their heaviest and has an all time pissed off dio performance.

What you perceive as an angry Dio, I call it almost as Dio is "wanking" vocally. As if he tried to do some self half-mockery of his best moments. I am not disagreeing with you. I love that album and always will. But there are moments where I go "how the fuck they wrote this shitty passage and allow it to be on the record".
