I normally dislike downtuned modern metalcore, but this is a bit different. Real sense of musicality, impeccable production, and weirdly enough, a surprisingly easy listen for this genre of music, dare I say a chill listen.

I have listened to the second half of the album multiple times during cold, winter walks (this album grew on me as a personal level, it seems!), but the first half is very good too.



The track Human is a bit overlooked I feel, one of my favourites, the vocals are great on here

Irony of that "What is a 5" thread is that my favorite album is exactly what I mean. This album is in no way perfect. Its production is muddy in a lot of areas and this genre is not everyone's cup of tea. But 1. I know this album like the back of my hand after so many years of listening to it. and 2. This came out in 2019 when I was really getting started on my musical journey and blew me away from start to finish. The hype I feel every time Nurture comes on or the goosebumps I get at the ending of Where We Go When We Die after a full listen probably won't ever go away.

Big fan of how clean-heavy this is too... something more unique about hearing the djenty metalcore riffs with a solid clean vocal over it.
