did anybody see the cool lyric thing from the breakdown on Nero Forte? The first word from each line/the words being yelled in the background form a different sentence or something, was kinda neat. Another song starts with morse code I think, can't remember what that spelled out. some cool little easter eggs here and there

I think the intro to Liar is meant to be self referential. At first listen it’s like, oh great another by the numbers corey taylor ballad. Then they mix it up a little bit.

If that was the idea that'd be cool. Because yea the song is great but those acoustic chords at the beginning were super generic for Slipknot. Then it turns into something interesting. But overall for the song the super basic acoustic chords help the overall structure.
