thing is, that I kinda destroyed Koi No Yokan by Deftones on my first playthroughs because I was spinning the singles endlessly. Won't do that again. Especially not with such a high quality band like this.

To be honest, I only have this at 4.0, because I haven't heard it in a while. So when I was rating, I only took I took into account what I remembered thinking. I'll listen again soon and I'm pretty sure 4.5 is on its way.

This is one of those albums that broadened my musical taste. I have liked ambient(-like) stuff before, but this was still something new to me that I had to get used to. New singles are so great that sometimes I'm having a hard time keeping myself from listening to them because I want to experience the new album without having already exhausted some songs. Thanks again Dewinged for bringing this to my attention with your review.
Not trying to shamelessly promote, but I love listening to this album in tandem with Shijima's World's End Relaxation. It's more beat-oriented and there are no vocals on that, only samples, so I'm not trying to compare them. I just really enjoy listening to these two albums back to back.
