"I prefer 3 6 Mafia when it comes to the dark gritty style hip-hop"
while i do prefer mystic stylez to this as a hardcore hip hop album, it's because that album had more variety in content (ex da summa, all or nothin, not just straight horrorcore). this one has a constant bleak and nihilistic"dark gritty" style, while early Three 6 is more so shock-value/flaying people/satanic "dark gritty" style in ADDITION to other stuff.

I jammed this week Wu-Tang, NAS, Notorious B.I.G. and GZA and this is probably the one I liked less on first listen.

This one took some time to grow on me. Now it is one of the best I know of.
