Can one prove that? If you hate it then fine. But don’t come across as some elitist who is the be-all-end-all. I stated my opinion and that’s fine. I never went through your music and attacked you for it. I love OCHL. And I’m not bashing Julia. I’ve loved her past stuff. But to call You Without End a “mess,” and this not is kind of a weird point. At least you could own up to the “mess” this album is and pretentiously call it art or experimental. At least You Without End was only 7 minutes and the most controversial part of the album, and the only part where that sound exists. This album is 90 minutes of the same sparse, grating crap in the vein of “art”. And that’s all that’s going for it. You can’t have a dissenting opinion of this album because it’s “experimental” and “art.”

I'm p sure both of us commented on every single page of the Infinite Granite thread, and I was still unprepared to deal with that take

Think 2021 Doof is a little bit more ‘less is more’ disciplined, baby steps

Three tracks in and this is blowing me away so far. Put this off forever since I didn’t really love HAVE YOU IN MY WILDERNESS but my god this is a whole different beast. Opening track floored me.
