They’re not musically comparable in any way (obviously) but for Brushed’s benefit this is better than Daughters & therefore I clearly like ‘vanilla’ music more than whatever the opposite is, hoping it’s not some sort of indulgent dark choc fudge as then I’d never be allowed to eat it again. Also, ice cream rules wtf?

This is pop and average simplistic blah af. This is the real new alternative music in sput, where everyone listening to weird and exquisite stuff is the normality. Not a fan of daughters either...would make more sense to the site's culture though, but maybe this is some kind of statement, that this music is needed to be praised in here too, and praise sput's trend setters such as kaiwaz f.e. (which I still didn't get if he's just a prank, or just like those girls butts)

It’s a bunch of music nerds randomly ranking music they enjoyed this year. Golden Hour just happened to be on more lists than most artists, so was awarded more points accordingly. Could it just be that it’s a warm, accessible album that most the staff listened to and enjoyed? There’s no statement or deep meaning behind any of this, lol
