Unfortunately I have had no drive to ever return to this, though I did love it.

[2] Yeah this was great but I haven't popped it on since I rated it, except Bask of course

I revisit this every so often and every time I'm surprised why I don't jam it more, full of bangers.

this is definitely one of those albums that hits hard and fast and then I kind of go months without listening for some reason; yet every time I revisit it's incredible. i guess i should be glad because this way I can't wear it out.

should be somewhere in my top 5 albums this year, not sure if in the upper or lower half of that echelon yet

I feel like it's totally bizarre that I didn't gravitate towards this as strongly as everyone else. I prefer His Old Branches, Varuna and The Cartographer pretty significantly to this. It does beat out No Matter How Narrow by a fair margin though. Maybe I'm just into the Brand New worship.

I think Emery bumped this out of my top 5. But I'm realizing that this year I listened to way more music than usual, and as such this list is gonna be stacked even though there's not a clear 5/5 like Gang of Youths last year

Last year was good, but this year is perfect in my honest opinion

Don't really know about this record tbh. It has cool moments but I can't really stay engaged throughout the whole thing. This is one that requires more listens which I'm not sure I can give it before the end of the year haha

"This is like a rock version of Coldplay"

This record hasn't clicked with me as hard as it has with the rest of the Sowing crowd as well (and I'm generally among them), but this is lazy musical criticism 101.

true, I just thought it sounded like it. Wasn't meant as criticism tbh, just a general remark
