Me too man, Unless I think it actually is poor. Theres stuff I may not like but that doesnt make it average/poor etc so i just leave it. Pop music for example I could run through most pop albums throwing out 1s. Whats the point? I have no reference in a genre i dont like.

Thats why I dont rate classical music even though I listen to a fair bit of it. How does one rate classical music anyway, unless theyre actually well versed in the music theory and orchestral dynamics.

Well, like I said, if the whole album had continued in the exact same fashion as the first half a 3.5 would have been on the cards.
The second half comes as a real surprise, sounds soppy to say but it's quite beautiful.
