Listened to this for the first time in a while and it's as middling as I remember. Very hit and miss.

The closer is the only track I ever come back to on this. Bleed It Out is fun too I guess

Closer is maybe the best track, but What I’ve Done is always king here

Maybe it's the nostalgia talking, but this album is a transcedental LP classic, and most of people rating it dk what they're talking about. Given Up, Little Things, Hands Held High, almost all of the songs in there are impressively well made, even when they tread radio rock territory. Hands down best album they've made.

I love how the first quarter of HHH is Mike rapping about how hard he’s going to start rapping in a second, just you wait. It’s a shame, because I think tracks like Kenji showed he could do that sort of subject matter a lot more effectively.

Hated this when it came out but it's held up strangely well for me for whatever reason. Still a far cry from their best but there's enough here to keep me coming back.

good album [69]

their worst album [420]

the best thing in the world is when bands strip down their sound and take out all of the interesting electronic parts, all of the unique atmospheric bits, and all of the energetic vocal performances, and then say it's because they're "evolving" or becoming "more mature"

This will always be one of my favorite LP albums. Hybrid, Meteora and M2M are their peak. But A Thousand Suns and The Hunting Party are damn good too.

Nostalgic album though, my first daughter was born a few months before this album came out (now she’s 17 and about to be a senior in high school — goddamnit can’t believe this album is that old!). I feel old. Saw 3 or 4 shows on this tour. I’ve seen LP on every album tour and these were the best shows. Meteora is 2nd for sheer intensity and energy alone, those shows were fucking lit.

Given Up is absolutely the best here and top 3 LP songs for me, but In Pieces is incredible too. What I’ve Done. The Little Things is fantastic as well. Bleed It Out got played out but great fucking song when it first came out.

This is honestly much more interesting and engaging than Hybrid Theory. My LP discog run might not become a slog after all

In Pieces is like a secret favorite of mine
