The Gorillaz, while being fictional characters, were always set in the real world as real celebrity cartoons and have always aged in real time and made references to the real events and celebrities, so it would male perfect sense for Donald Trump to be of influence to the music.

Also Damon didn't remove mentions of Trump in case it alienated fans, he did it because it would of made the music dated.

I like Anthony but this little hive mind he's spawned is infuriating as hell, very closed minded and intolerant of any opinions that aren't theirs. I don't really blame Anthony for that though.
