based on 2/3 of the singles i was dreading this album. wasn't entirely impressed the first time i listened to it but i've really quickly begun to love it. Hard to rank their discography, but this is up there as it could be i guess. Love how close it gets to CtS, and i would highly enjoy if they continue that direction. Getting past the fact they will never do another remisssion/leviathan/blood mountain and not trying to expect that dramatically increased my enjoyment of the record.

haha thanks titan. this probably isn't a 4.5 but it's higher than a 4 for me. i hope the next record pulls back on brann's vocals a bit. as good as they are they really take a lot of the edge off. he sings some great hooks and choruses but i'd rather hear brent singing leads.
