"i don't listen to a pedo band (Capsize specifically) because people actually ceded to my unrealistic demands and plastered the whole story (the Capsize story that is), replete with incriminating evidence, all over the internet, irrespective of the victims wants and how that would impact any potential legal action. they did the right thing (by Capsize and the victim, indubitably)"

StarlessCore: you're...five years under the correct answer.

Not a lot of people talk about With Confidence's allegations and I still dropped them (hell, I barely even listened as is) as soon as I found out. There's another example for ya.

"i no longer listen to pedophilic music such as Capsize because i relentlessly demanded that i see the pictorial evidence or else the claims were to be scrapped as incredulous... there is nothing inherently toxic with that at all. there is no power dynamic at play here that makes my actions negatively impact the victims or anyone else. praise Capsize"

There has to be some sort of process to determine what's real and isn't real. Could just me saying you abused me via this comment (even though it isn't true) be enough for you to get canceled? And like i said, sometimes misinformation does come out. Set It Off and Our Last Night (the latter of which I believed was TRUE at first and immediately removed all their material from my playlists) are two such examples.

sometimes you just have to accept that the abnormal rate of accusations within a certain sphere of music may having something more to do with the quality of persons in the bands than the pedantry of the fans (come victims)
if perhaps there's such a high incidence of foul play in pop punk/scenecore, it may hint at ambitions other than making good music within that sphere

one false accusation that will ultimately be thrown out by a judge/jury at trial vs the uncountable number of accusations that have been suppressed by artists with rabid fanbases and semi-endless resources (at the behest of their label)
i wonder which adds up to more harm

like michael gira got called out for straight up raping a woman and then the whole swans fanbase came out to hound the woman all becausse they have a boner for the seer

The truth has to come out somewhere, dude. And thank god I never got into Swans because O_O
|
| |
of course it does, but when it's a whole fanbase and the band vs one dissenting person, the pressure placed upon the accusor becomes near insurmountable
and that dynamic is always going to appear in these sort of instances
why back the tyrants?

all this because you made a claim that you subsequently refuse to back up about ISS and C!NCC... lol
|
| |
yeah i don't like the idea of siding with pedophiles but for you that's apparently a HUGE problem
if you kept hearing rumours that your next door neighbour was chopping up dogs and burying them in their backyard, would you go over to their place for a cuppa tea and playtime with your pet daschund?
because essentially that's what you're doing defending this shit
|
| |
all because you're a fucking retard that likes to defend sexual predators

Except all I heard about ISS and C!NCC being pedos is one comment from you. I googled it like you asked and found NOTHING even related.

as i said bro, hit up the deep web
you'll find all the evidence you need
the cops will too, but at least you'd be able to verify these awfully evil accusations
|
| |
it's not my job to prove to you that you listen to underage rapecore bro
that's a realisation you need to come to yourself

what the hell is this "if you make a claim to someone, that someone has to find the proof themselves" logic lmao
|
| |
it's similar to the notion of mathematical proof;
proof must be exhaustive
disproof requires a single-inconsistency
there's a very different sense of rigour with these things
law operates the same way
it's infinitely easier to prove reasonable doubt than it is to prove beyond a reasonable doubt
the ball is never really in the defendant's court
|

if i google.com through tor browser will i find the sufficient evidence to convict everyone in the universe of every crime in the world
