Trivium's latest is pretty sweet too.

their latest is a product of matt heafy's vocal training i'm pretty sure (and the fact that david draiman didn't touch it)
so there is some hope left for anders. but better vocals isn't going to fix in flames obviously

There isn't a single album I've heard from Trivium that wasn't boring.

I mean, Shogun is kind of like Trivium's The Blackening. It's a pale facsimile of the genres it's attempting to emulate, it's dull and comes off as really insincere.

Nah, I've listened to Trivium. Not good at all

The Blackening is mediocre as hell. Why anyone would want to listen to it when a far superior thrash metal release came out that year is beyond me.

Every machine head album is trash except their first two

Source, can you explain the appeal of those first two for me? I've tried Burn My Eyes but it does not warrant anything in the way of further listening.

"Sounds like I would be wasting my time then lol"
Yeah but does the appeal come from the fact that it's bad post-CfH Pantera worship or is it something else?
