I heard a lot of passion and emotion in the dude's voice tho so putting some words onto that is gonna be great

I was thinking about this, because im a music goober and i feel the need to compartmentalize and organize my thoughts in regards to art, this might be my favorite album of the decade. Its been over a year since I heard it now, and I've only grown to love it even more.

While I'm here, thank you to all of you that have read and commented on and given this review positive feedback. It means a lot to me and I can assure you the band appreciates it to. Y'all rule.

My favorite singular melody and moment on this album is at the very end of "New Friends", when Evan holds that "forget it" out and packs so much emotion into it.

Anytime I put on Old Friends nowadays it kind of has this old friend/comforting feeling to it, perfect name for the song.

I used to not be able to decide if I liked Old Friends, Aphasia or New Friends the most but I think after many many listens Old Friends has felt the least overplayed.

Yes Full, glad you gave it a go. Lyrics are the best on this, so definitely delve into them

Strings frayed like my... GOOD DAYS

Always loved the way he delivers that line, this album has so many moments like that.

Admittedly there are moments where his vocal delivery verges on being too emo for me but overall it's pretty good. It adds to the album's charm.

This album is still really great. Aside from a couple of filler tracks, it's very consistent.

I should call my parents when I think of them. Should tell my friends when I love them.

I don't really cry since I've had my tear ducts removed at the age of 10, but if any song could make me shed a tear, it would be Old Friends.

Cadmium and Aphasia are the most emotionally gripping songs to me. I really wish this album is longer, I need more of this.

Need to revisit this. It was really good the few times I listened to it. Got into a dm binge though after I checked this out.

Not so much. Going to actually put it on right now while the thought is fresh in my mind.
