I really need to see these guys live again, I feel like the first time I saw them didn't do them justice. They were sick :/

I don't really think it's that uninteresting. It puts out a lot of engaging melodies. Would've been better if a few tracks were cut though.

Favorites are January 10, 2014, Mount Hum, Mental Health, and You Can't Live There Forever. This is only going to get better, I'm sure of it. If I gave this more time in 2015 it could have been my AOTY then.

i saw these dudes open for iioi tonight and i officially don't get the hype. felt like half the set was one of the guitarists tremolo picking while the singer swayed back and forth like he was bent out of his skull. maybe i needed to do lsd or something for the full experience

These guys are great. Most Topshelf output is. Really good musicianship, and I think that the vocals - both the male and female - are perfect "emo" vocals, if you get what I'm saying. Sure, they're "whiny" or whatever, but it's "whiny" emo akin to what I grew up with in the '90's as opposed to a lot of the shit tier emo from the early 00's.

They're really good live, I'm just not really into post rock unfortunately. I do love the first three tracks on this though but I prefer Whenever. I just find some parts of this a little boring tbh, but that's just my opinion.

When the band name sounds like the album title and the album title sounds like the band name.
