yeah I feel the same way about the record. the songwriting just seems consistently like a step down from lonerism which I think is great. probably like "let it happen," "nangs" and "cause I'm a man" best and even those. (for some reason I greatly prefer the rihanna version of the closer to this one, lol)

Song was great performed live. I thought the three best live songs were 'let it happen', 'elephant' and 'apocalypse dreams'

Yeah I imagine songs like Let It Happen are great live but if I would prefer to hear more Lonerism stuff at a Tame Impala live show. That whole album played straight through live would be amazing.

The stuff from the first two albums blurs a bit in the live setting Boney - they actually need more variety in sound in their discog

Keep On Lying is the best drunken tune in the world. Though several on this album I think are better songs overall, but Keep On Lying is a drunken staple. Also, I think it's rude for Rihanna to cover a song that hasn't been out but just a few months and her put it on her new album. But that's just me

Especially outdoors.

I got black-out stupid fucked up while watching them and it caused me to miss Metallica later that evening. One of my biggest regrets.

Still not sure how much I like this, but it is definitely great background music for doing dishes and other housework. I've been shuffling it every now and then for a few weeks.
